Is there anything I can do?

Asked on Sep 11th, 2021 on General Practice - California
More details to this question:
I am tenants in common with my brothers and reside at the address I'm speaking about along with their father. There is some expensive needed repairs needed and they won't help pay and won't sign the document for new title company for me to refinance the property to pull the equity out. The property needs a new septic system and now they want to sell. When reminded we can't sell with a bad septic system nobody seem to care. I have no desire to sell, so we have that conflict. The loan is soley in my name, not sure that matters

Is there a way for you to buy the others out so you own yourself?  This may be obvious, but it is really the only other thing that can be done outside of a sale, which they can force upon you with a "Partition" action (a lawsuit).  You can do the same-force a sale that is- and requesst that they pay you all of the moneys you spent on upkeep.  But since they want to sell anyway, I suggest you simply try to work it out because adding a lawyer to this would drain equity fast.
