Personal belongings

More details to this question:
My ex has kept my belongings. Since day one I have been asking for my stuff and she has refused to return anything. My clothes furniture electronics tools personal documents. Now almost two years later her parents which happen to own a storage facility send me a bill in amount of 5250.00. And half my belongings not even in storage I know for fact her and her family are using them. What should I do???

You should contact an attorney to prepare a demand letter on your behalf. You may have a claim for civil theft as well as other claims. You also need to address the bill for the storage unit so that you are not facing a collections claim from the parents for storage of your personal property.
