QUESTION

Possible scam victim

More details to this question:
I was chatting with this guy I met online. He said he was 19. I've got screenshots of his profile to verify he said he was 19. I suddenly get a message from someone claiming to be his dad. Threatens to have me arrested if I don't pay. Obvs it's a scam. I think. What freaks me out is that this 19 year old and I have shared pics, yes those kind. Am I under any protection since this guy said he was 19 and notb17 like his father said? I know sharing pics with consenting adults is legal. But, I'm still having a freak out that this could be real. If I have proof the kid stated he was over legal age, ambi in troible?

Very common scam. There is no teen. There is no Dad..its a scam to extort money out of fear the police will be notified. Dont text them and block their number.
