prevented from see a doctor

More details to this question:
I WENT TO THE DOCTOR TO GET MY PRESCRIPTION REFILL AND I WAS SEE BY HER ASSISTANT WHO WANTED TO DO SOME TESTING BEFORE I GET MY MEDICATION.

That is probably the doctor's office policy.  I would advise the doctor what happened, and see what the doctor says because the doctor may tell you "That's the way I run my office" and if that's the case, you don't have much choice.
