Stool broke while sitting at a restaurant

I went to eat a sushie Restaurant and the sat us in a table with stools which are higher than normal chairs. Within 2 to 3 minutes the chair broke and I hit the floor. My back already had problems with Arthritis but now I feel the pain is permanent and painful . I been taking therapies and pain medication. How much can I get for a case like this. I feel like I will have to live with this pain forever
