What do i do, My electric was tapped by another resident

More details to this question:
I discovered that my electric bill jumped up from about $150 to over $300 for the past 3 months. called the Utility Company to look into it. Nothing was done. I investigated personally and found out that another apartment was using my electricity through an outlet under my a/c unit. I have pictures taken. What do i do? my new bill is $311 for a single bedroom apartment. Please advise.

File a police report for theft of electricity. Get a copy of the report and your pictures and take them to the Customer Service division of your utility company in person. I think they will solve the problem for you and credit your account as warranted based on this theft.
