what if someone threatens to sue me for a Facebook post

More details to this question:
I posted about my ex on facebook publicly and said how he abused me and warned other people. I took it down about 30 minutes later. I realized it was not the smartest thing to do. Now him and his sister both sent me messages through Facebook saying they are considering suing me. Am I to get a lawyer or just wait to see if I hear from them again?

Wait and see. Threats to sue often come to nothing.
