what should i do about my consumption alcohol by a minor who does not possess a delaware license?

Hello my name is Tyler Hoagland, from North Brunswick NJ and a freshman at West Chester University. Early Saturday morning, April 22, while visitng a friend from the University of Delaware, I was charged with 'possess/Consume Alcohol by a minor prohibited who does not possess a Delaware license'. My court date is set for May 25th. Im just wondering what I should do in terms of if I should hire an attorney or not. And also since this being my first offense, if I am eligable for Probation Before Judgement? Im just trying to take whatever steps are necessary to get this all sorted out.
