Asked on Oct 23rd, 2017 on General Practice - Washington
More details to this question:
I recently split up from my ex girlfriend and she is refusing to allow me to get my sandrail. This is in St.Helens Oregon. I have the small claims paperwork but it wants a dollar amount and I don't want that. I want the sandrail. WHAT do I put? Also it asks in a small box to put the dollar amount of claim along with fee for service fee and total. What do I put for claim amount since I just want my sandrail back.

What you are seeking is called equitable relief, i.e. any relief other than monetary damages.  I don't know about small claims courts in Washington, but many small claims courts do not have jurisdiction to award equitable relief, so that you would either have to sue in another court, or, if you want to stay in small claims court, sue for the value of the sandrail rather than its return.  You should speak to the clerk of the small claims court to learn your options.
