Will applying Medicaid affects my parents immigration status?

I’m pregnant & I want to apply for Medicaid for my self for pregnancy appointments. I am a US citizen & I am sponsoring my parents immigration for them to be US citizens. But will it affect if I apply for Medicaid?

If you qualify for need-based assistance such as Medicaid, then it will affect the application in that you most likely will not be able to be a financial sponsor for your parents, due to insufficient income such that You may have to engage a joint financial sponsor.
