Do I say yes or no to that question?

Asked on Mar 20th, 2021 on Citizenship - New York
More details to this question:
I few years back I was arrested and went to court for it but everything got resolved I got community service for it. Now I’m about to have my naturalization exam and I don’t know what to answer to any of the questions about if I have ever been convicted or charged and such because I don’t have any paper work from that time and I don’t want to come out as lying if I answer no because like I said everything was taken care of.

In the first, you probably should have disclosed this information in your Naturalization petition. Accordingly yo must be honest and explain. Additionally, you should have submitted a Certificate of Disposition of the case. If you did not submit that document, it will be an issue during the interview and you may receive a Notice of Continuance, i.e. a request for documents and a new date.
