QUESTION

Am I being conned by an illegal?

Asked on Aug 07th, 2017 on Immigration - Georgia
More details to this question:
I am a US citizen and recently found out my non-citizen girlfriend from Mexico is pregnant (we both currently live in the US, but not together). She claims to be a permanent resident in the process of getting citizenship, however, there have been several red flags thrown my way to suggest she may be insincere regarding her resident status. She refused Medicaid after claiming her immigration attorney advised against it, then she refused to provide me with basic demographic info when I offered to look into and pay for private insurance for her. I want nothing to do with her anymore, but I would like to salvage the unborn child if possible, is there anything I can do?
