Applying for the spouse?

More details to this question:
am new immigrant and been to US for the past 1 months.my green card is issued but was lost some where during delivery and have already applied for the replacement of the card.For some personal reason i am getting back to home country on the last of this month.My concern is , is it possible to apply for my wife who is at home country right now before i get back ?,perhaps i will be out of US for 6 months will i be called from USCIS regarding the petitions i have filed for my wife when i am out of US in between?If i can file the petition for my wife right now ,what documents do i need ?i am getting out of US on 26 october is it possible to file the petitions before that date?

You can definately apply for your wife. The petition is I-130. USe the immigrant visa endorced by CBP as proof of your LPR status.
