Dears I am from Iraq and I entered to US by businesses visa in the last month and I wish to request asylum case to life in USA. Below my case in brief:- 1- 2004 – 2006 worked with contracting company under USA companies supervision and we got many times threatens as we are working in dangerous cities. 2- 2008 worked with USA company under US troops supervision In CSC ( Civilian Service Corps )Program as operation director and during this I got many threatens which caused me to leave the job ( I have all the E-mails during my work in this program ) . 3- I am from Kirkuk- Tuz which ISIS attacked our villages. My questions are:- - What is the duration to complete my asylum petition case ? - What is the duration to bring my wife and kids to US and completing my asylum petition? - What is the fees for asylum petition? - What is the fees for bringing my family to US? 1. It will likely take several years for your asylum application to be adjudicated. Asylum offices across the U.S. are substantially backlogged. If your asylum application is not granted by the Asylum Office, you will be referred to the Immigration Court unless you are in a valid nonimmigrant status. This will add to the processing time. 2. It will take approximately 8 to 12 months to bring your spouse and children after your asylum application is granted. 3. There is no filing fee to request asylum. You may hire an attorney to represent you. Attorneys' fees will vary. 4. There is no filing fee to petition for your spouse and children. Again, you may hire an attorney.
