At what ave can i fix papers for my husband

More details to this question:
I know we have to be legally married and we will en 2 years . I will be 19 and he'll be 26 . I would like to fix papers for him but I do not know at what age and how many years after we get married can I fix his papers. I'm born here in USA but he is not .

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to execute an affidavit of support. You may petition for your spouse immediately after your marriage. There is no required waiting period. The process you will need to follow wil depend upon your husband's immigration history including his manner of entry.
