Asked on Aug 28th, 2020 on Immigration - Texas
More details to this question:
Hello, I am planning to convert from B1 to L1 while in US. Once I get approval, can I apply for GC? Do I need to have the L1 visa stamp or not required. My employer gives me flexibility to apply for GC after 2 months of L1.

There is no time restriction on your applying for a green card after obtaining the L-1 approval. Most L-1 visas have dual intent which means that you can intend to immigrate while at the same time maintaining your lawful nonimmigrant status.
