I am currently serving in the U.S Army Reserve and have filed N400 through military service from F-1. However, my N400 is still pending and unable to retrieve what is the issue that shows pending. I just married in August 1st, 2019 and my wife is a US Citizen but my passport expired in April 2019 so I am wondering whether am I still eligible to apply for green card and EAD in this case?
An expired passport would not prevent anyone from applying for adjustment of status to permanent residence. A valid passport is not a requirement.
