QUESTION

Can I ask to extend my I-94 for 6 months?

Asked on Nov 08th, 2014 on Immigration - California
More details to this question:
I am a visitor with B1/B2 visa that will expire next December 4th/2014.My sister applied the form I-130 because she is now US Citizen. Now, I do not know if I can stay in the US after my I-94 expires or travel back to Brazil, my country, return after 30 months and get another I-94. I would appreciate your prompt reply.

If i 130 was filed for you, it is not likely that a non immigrant status, such as B, will be extended for you.

Your sister's application for you may take more than 12 years to become current(the visa number). You cannot stay in the US for the visa number to become current.
