Yes it is possible if you qualify and have a sponsor. Your H-1B petition must be received by USCIS before your B-1/B-2 expires and there will have to be an available H-1B number. These are going fast so act quickly if this is what you want to do. We would be happy to help you with this just let me know and I will send you the documents and fees to get started.

If you are still in B1/B2 status you may file to change your status to H1B if petitioned by an employer. However, you cannot work until the change of status to H1B is approved. If you are considering applying to change your status to H1B it is important to so so soon since there are a limited amount of H1B visas available and you must file before your B1/B2 status expires.

Wait to get your change of status granted (or H1B petition approved) before starting to work. Usually, the first filing day for H1B is April first, for work stating October 1. This is a complicated petition depending on the nature of the position and your educational background, so best if the hiring company has an attorney to handle this type of petition.
