Can I change my maiden name to my married name while waiting for my interview date?

More details to this question:
I used my maiden name when filling my I-485 and the rest of the forms.

As long as one qualifies under state law for a name change, they can certainly do it.

Did you take your husband's name as per your marriage certificate? If yes, then you should have put your new name. Now, you will need to amend it. If no, you can change your name and then you will need to amend your forms.
