Can I extend my stay in the US without leaving?

More details to this question:
I am citizen of Australian and have 90 days stay in the US. My girl friend lives in the States and I would like to spend some time with her. Can I stay beyond 90 days without applying visa extension? Thank you for your help

Hello. Sorry, but if you came on the Visa Waiver/ESTA you cannot extend your stay. The only exception is marriage to a US citizen. Thus, you will need to leave and re-enter in order to get a new 90 days. Hope this helps.
