More details to this question:
I applied for asylum for over a year now and my case is still pending, I'm a single mom, for over 8 months im in a serious relationship and we are considering getting married by the end of February. I wish to know if it's advisable for me to get married now, or wait until my case pulls through.

Hello. An application for asylum is based on credible fear you have for returning to  your country, not whether you are single or married so if you wish to marry it will not effect your application. If you are marrying a US citizen it may provide you with additional ways to stay in the US. Please call me for a free consultation to further explain specifically to your case.
