More details to this question:
hi ..i just want to know if i can travel for three weeks , out side of the united states , from December 10 to January 5 , And if these days they are close?? Maybe they can'' t send me the appointment for my interview ..?? thank you so much .
Dear Sir/Madam,
You can certainly leave the US provided someone is able to open your mail to advise you regarding your naturalization interview. You must also understand that your "continuous and physical presence" requirements continue until the date of the interview. In other words, you should calculate the number of days that you were absent from the US during the statutory period to find out whether your three week absence takes you out of the residence requirements.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
