Can I qualify for u visa

More details to this question:
I had a disagreement with my wife she hits me with a coffee cup i ended up in hospital with 21 stitches in my hospital bill was over $5000 call the police file a report they took pictures of my injuries no one get arrested she claimed that i pushed her i stated to the officer i didn't want her to get arrested she was the aggressor no one ever charged this happened July 2012 do i have a claim for u visa

  Whether you would be able to obtain a U visa under the circumstances is questionable. There is the questions of an apportioning of blame and that no one was arrested at the time. You would need a certification from a federal, state or local law enforcement official demonstrating that you have been helpful, are being helpful, or are likely to be helpful in investigating or prosecuting a crime. Inasmuch as there was no interest in prosecuting in 2012, I seriously doubt that such a claim would be valid for purposes of the U visa today.
