Can I still use the recommendation letter for EB1A petition?

More details to this question:
I am collecting the documents for EB1A petition since last one year and got several recommendation letters within this period, which are 3-12 months old. Can I still use them or I need to ask the referees to resend them with a recent date?

Generally speaking, there's no problem with using such letters, although an officer could always ask for something more recent in their discretion.
