I am H4 travelling to India with my kid. My husband’s H1B visa has an extension period until 2017. We completed 1 year here in USA. We never went India after coming USA. H1b extension got approved 3 months back.

If a person has an unexpired H-4 visa stamped in their passport, and are not otherwise inadmissible to the USA, then they should be readmitted to the country after a visit abroad, even if they don't travel with their H-1B spouse.

I would say yes. However, you might have to go visa stamping. Talk to your lawyer.
