Can my boyfriend obtain a work permit once we get married?

Me and my boyfriend are currently both 17. I turn 18 in August 2015 and he turns 18 on February 2016. We are planning on getting married sometime in December 2015. Once we get married I want to get him his visa and work permit. Will there be a problem once we start all the paperwork because of our age?
