Can my husband adjust for status after entering with his parents as a child?

I recently got married. My husband was brought in as a child illegally by his parents. He has been going to school here, and he has an Authorization for Employment card. We applied for his residency, but they said that they need initial papers showing his legal entry, like an i-94. We don't have that. What can we do? Can he even apply for adjustment of status?

Yes, they are right. Depending on circumstances, you husband might need to get an advance parole and be paroled into the US before filling his I 485 again.
