More details to this question:
My husband and I have been married for 2 1/2 years. He came in legally on a B2 visa to the US and we were married a couple months later. He currently has conditional resident with greencard to expire end of 2022. If I wanted to file for seperation but not divorce would this heavily impact his chances to be able to stay? he is also a business owner with no criminal record and pays taxes.
Yes if you are separated prior to the two-year anniversary on The expiration date on his green card, then it would heavily impact his chances of getting a 10 year card.
