I am 26yrs old, can my mom help me fix my residency and how soon can I begin to work through the process?

If your mom is a permanent resident and you are not married, or if she is a US citizen and regardless if you are married or not, she may file a petition for you but you will have to wait for your priority date to become current.

Yes but you will have to leave the country and it will take a number of years. Speak to an attorney.

If she is a citizen or a resident she can file for you. You will likely have to wait some years. If your mother was a citizen when you were a minor, you may have a derivative citizenship.

Yes, if you are outside the U.S. you must do it ASAP. If you are inside the U.S. you must have entered the U.S. legally in order to qualify. Your waiting time/processing time depends on whether or not you are married and what country you a national of.
