QUESTION

Can she re-enter in a month's time on her second visit?

Asked on Jul 27th, 2016 on Immigration - Texas
More details to this question:
My mother has 10 year multiple entry visa from India. She is on her first visit now. Her 6 month period ends next month. I am a US citizen and suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. I use a wheelchair. My husband is blind. I have a surgery for an unexpected cyst with lung complications. I did go through the failed surgery last month, but it was aborted after the first incision because my lungs failed. Now, I am undergoing tests after which the surgery will be rescheduled. I need my mother back during this stressful period.

Only an immigration official at the port of entry can make the decision whether or not to allow your mother back into the United States as a temporary visitor. If you need your mother to be near you for an indeterminate amount of time due to your illness, it may be a better idea for you to petition for your mother to come to the United States as a lawful permanent resident.
