Can someone from Morocco get married in the U.S. and then apply for Citizenship

I'm talking to a man in Morocco. He says we have to get married there so he can come to the U.S. Is that true and what rules would i be submitted to if we marry there?

Yes, it is permissible for somebody from Morrocco to travel to the United States on a visitor visa for the specific purpose of getting married, and then return home to process at the US consulate overseas. Alternatively, if you have physically met this person within The last two years, you can sponsor him for his fiancée visa, and once that is obtained, he can travel to the United States but must get married to you within 90 days of entry, and then he could adjust status to get his green card.
