Canadian Citizen being extradited from the US to Canada

More details to this question:
She has been held for 30 days, with no end on the horizon. Is there a statue of limitations on how long Canada has to come and get her. We want to go up and face the charges, but she seems lost in the US court system. Canada has supplied sealed charges and bail was denied. I just want to know how long they can keep her in a detention facility.
