More details to this question:
My i140 eb3 was approved in 2007 and sent to NVC. In 2012 it was returned to USCIS. when receipt # is checked on USCIS website it says approved. Paralegal says it is on extended review And that uscis website has a typo error that's why it shows approved on my case status. What are my options. My PD is current and i am undr consular processing. Is there anything i can do on my case and what will happen if my i140 gets denied, will i retain my PD?
An extended review generally involves a more thorough background check conducted by other agencies (like the FBI), so there is nothing you can do to speed it up. If your I-140 is denied, you would lose your priority date. However, they are current for all but unskilled workers right now anyway.
