QUESTION

Change violated F2 to F1 visa

Asked on Jan 11th, 2016 on Immigration - Connecticut
More details to this question:
I'm currently in the US on an F2 visa. I arrived the USA on Sep 2014. I have applied the graduate university and attended the courses as full time student since Jan 2015. Right now the school told me that I can't study in F2 visa. And I have violated the terms of my F2 visa. What should I do? Can I apply the Form I-539 right now? Will it be denied? What if I quit the school? Do I have to leave the USA?

it is unclear how you violated the terms of your F2, by not studing?
