Coming to the US on the VWP

Asked on Aug 12th, 2015 on Immigration - Illinois
More details to this question:
I have been in the US traveling on the VWP for just over 2 months and will be returning to the UK on the 15th, this is my very first time in the US. I would like to come back out to the US again around the 20th of September for a short stay. Will I have an issue at US Customs and Immigration because of my previous stay being so long?

You may be asked why you are coming back a month after leaving the U. S. If you have a satisfactory response, you should be able to be admitted, especially since this is only the 2nd time that you will have come to the U. S. Your staying here for just over 2 months is not considered long, and the concern would be your coming back so quickly after leaving.
