QUESTION

Contractor issues when on H1b

Asked on Aug 23rd, 2019 on Immigration - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
Have issues with deck contractor, he hasn't finished the job and I am holding some money until he finishes. He is telling me he can take me to court. I don't think I can proven guilty because I have all proofs of unfinished work, but question is would that affect my next h1b renewal just because someone sued me in small court?
