Could I face immigration problems if I don't sign up for selective services?

I came to the US in 1999 at age 8. Second question is, can I face immigration issues if I don't file tax return?

Tax return and selective service are two completely different things. Which are you asking about?

Failure to register for selective service or file your tax returns may prevent you from qualifying for naturalization in the future.

Registering for selective service and filing federal tax returns are requirements for naturalization (obtaining U.S. citizenship). If you are not already a US citizen, yes, that would hurt in the future if you seek to naturalize.
