As your mother and your father never married, there is nothing that your mother can do to help him obtain his residence status. There is a chance that you may eventually be able to help him if you become a U.S. citizen and when you reach the age of 21, but you would also have to show that he took a parental interest in you prior to your turning the age of 18.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question.
