More details to this question:
My wife as a primary applicant, has received/ approved her green card on 09/16 (Category EB2, GC Category: E26 Country: India ; Serviced at TSC) . I as her husband (and dependent applicant) have yet not received my green card or any notification. I opened a Service Request with USCIS and got an automated response as my application is under "extended review" , which seems to be a "black hole" with no timeframe. We also had an infopass appointment and received the same response on the ticket they/infopass had opened on our behalf. We both had received our EAD and did our EAD extension as well. Not sure what other option I have, could you please advise? Thank you
U.S.C.I.S. does not always approve principals and dependents together. There are many occasions in which dependents must wait longer because of such matters as missing files, further background checks, etc. Your wife just received her green card in the month of September, and so it is a little bit early for you to begin panicking. You can continue to make infopass appointments to check up on your case and perhaps enlist the aid of your local congressman or senator if significant time has passed by without result.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question.
