QUESTION

Do I need my Naturalization Certificate?

Asked on Apr 11th, 2022 on Immigration - Texas
More details to this question:
I want to apply for a k1 visa for my boyfriend in Mexico, after that for the green card, of course. I do not have my naturalization certificate because I never received it after applying for my US passport. Will I need this certificate to prove that I’m a US citizen? Or Can my passport itself work? Would ether me or my boyfriend ever need it at any time during the process or while applying for both the k1 visa and green card?
