More details to this question:
My grandmother was born in US, my mother is citizen, my renew green card says that Im a resident since may this year , but Im a legal resident since 1992, I couldnt afford it sooner so my green card was expired for more than 10 years. Do I have to wait for few years to get my citizenship?
Your legal residence does not expire just because you did not renew it if you did not leave the US for a long period of time. Although it is the law that every permanent resident should carry proof of such with him or her, that does not negate the fact that you are still a permanent resident. As you now have a renewed green card, you can apply for your US citizenship immediately as long as you otherwise qualify for naturalization.
