As you probably know, when you got married, the first application that your father filed for you was automatically revoked. There are no permanent visa categories for married children of residents. When your father naturalized and filed a new application for you, it was in the category for married children of citizens. The only way for you to retain your earlier priority date is if the same petitioner (your father) filed an application for the same beneficiary (you) in the same visa category. Since your current application was filed in a different visa category, you cannot retain your old priority date.
