Hello, I was working as a employee in a restaurant on E2 visa the employer canceled my contract Do ı have Grace period and can ı change my visa status E2 to F1 thank you

An individual holding E-2 visa status is allowed a 60 day grace period to find new work. You can only use it once, however, in connection with the current validity date of the E-2 status. The grace period  is also applicable to an individual like you attempting to change status to another category such as F-1 student.
