EAD Dependent Question

Asked on Oct 18th, 2016 on Immigration - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Hello, My dad came to US 15 years ago through Employment. We applied for greencard in 2007. His employer submitted under EB-3, so we are yet to get the greencard. We got out EAD's couple years ago. So I am able to work full time with that. I am currently 24 years old. My question is if i get married (to some one on H1 or other status) what would happen to my pending greencard? When my dad gets it, would i get it too, despite my age and marital status ?

You would be ineligible to receive a green card through your father's case if you marry. Only an unmarried child may derive benefits from an immigrant visa filed by an employer on behalf of his/her parent.
