More details to this question:
hello, I just filed a i-90 to renew my green card. I live in california but right now im stuck in Roma, TX, I got the bio metric appointment for California office. My question is if i don't have any documents right now is the appointment letter enough to not get in trouble if i get stop at a immigration check point? or can i just go to any bio-metric center in Texas to take my finger prints?

The Application Support Centers which perform the biometrics are generally accommodating and if you explain the situation and show them the biometrics appointment sheet for California, they should be able to take your biometrics in Texas. The letter will not protect you, but you should be able to take it to a nearby biometrics center and get your fingerprints taken there.
