QUESTION

Form I-130

Asked on Oct 02nd, 2023 on Immigration - California
More details to this question:
I am in the process of filing an I-130 petition on behalf of my sister, and I am a U.S. native. My parents originate from the Middle East, and Arabic is our primary language. My inquiry concerns the I-130 form. There exist minor discrepancies in the spelling of my parents' names across three different documents (the petitioner's passport, my birth certificate, and my parents' green card), and I am uncertain about which spelling to employ for both the I-130 application and the translation of my sister's birth certificate.

Any mistake and/or discrepancies entered on the immigration forms will be corrected at the time of any immigration interview. The current wait time for visa availability in a US citizen sibling petition is taking roughly 12 plus years.
