Green card

More details to this question:
My Father and Mother have a green card since 2002 they stayed in US for 5 years and came back to Brazil in 2007 and they still here in Brazil till now 2013. There green card expires in 2017 can they go back to US with out having problems? Or because they stayed here without going to US will couse them a problem? Thank you.

No.  Your parents abandoned their permanent resident status by leaving the US for such a long period. Generally, anyone who leaves for more than a year risks losing their status.  If your parents try to return, their cards will be confiscated and they will be sent back to Brazil.
