More details to this question:
I have to renew my green card soon. (10 years as a Permanent Resident) However, by mistake I grabbed an old checkbook of a closed account. (my own checking account) went to the grocery store and paid about 70 dollars for groceries. went home and that's it. about 2 years later I was hired for a job but one day before my starting day, I was told that they couldn't hire me because I had a warrant for arrest and they couldn't hire me. they gave me a case number and I went running to the court to find out. They told me that it was for writing a bad check for $70 at a grocery store. when they showed me the check I was surprise because I didn't even realized I did that and it was totally unintentionally , I was never notified. Well, I realized that since it was from a bank that I didn't deal anymore, there was no way to contact me years later. I said, well what do I do. he said. pay it and some other fees, like a total of $90 dol and it will be dismissed but sometimes it comes up as dismissed

Without seeing a certificate of disposition from the court it is difficult to assess what impact this conviction will have on your ability to renew your green card. If it was dismissed with no requirement for you to admit guilt then it will likely not be an issue. You will have to disclose the incident but it should not keep you from getting a new green card. If it was not dismissed, it could be an issue. As the court for a copy of the dispiriting and have it reviewed by an experienced immigration attorney.
