QUESTION

H1-B

Asked on May 05th, 2014 on Immigration - Texas
More details to this question:
I am graduating from University with Graphic Design Bachelor's Degree. I have 3-4 years of experience. I have a company(non-profit) who wants to hire me. I am currently doing CPT(20 hours/week) as a graphic designer for them for a year and will do OPT. I want to apply HI-B next year, however the maximum payment that they can pay is 17 dollars /hour. I know I need to have an average payment. (Question) 1) What is the average pay for my job? 2) Is $17/hour enough to apply H1-B? 3) If that isn't enough, what do you think would be the minimum required for Dallas area for a designer? Thank you so much
